After supper in Sauðarkrókur six of us from the tour and two Icelandic tour guides took a 50 km taxi ride around Skagafjörður to Hofsós. There we picked up a ride on this fishing boat and went 8 km out to the tiny island of Drangey in the middle of the fjörd. Ross and Shelly from Florida and the four of us made this late night jaunt. We didn't get back to the hotel until 2:30 a.m. |
