On our first night in Reykjavík we had supper at the Hard Rock Cafe. Like a good HRC anywhere they had loud music and a predictable menu. Unique to this HRC is a statue of Leif Ericson with a guitar strung over his back. Getting to the HRC we walked two kilometers from our hotel to the Kringian Mall. Along the main street there was construction and you could see the utilities to all the homes. Each house had hot water delivered through isulated pipes. |
